New Zealand Virtual Assistant Conference – 28-29 August 2012, Wellington
Lindsey Carroll of Outbox Ltd was delighted to be awarded the title ‘Virtual Assistant of the Year 2012’ while attending the inaugural New Zealand Virtual Assistant Conference in Wellington this week which gave the Virtual Assistant community of New Zealand a chance to connect in person and plan a direction for this young but very exciting and forward-thinking industry.
Keynote speakers Justin Flitter and Hannah Samuel imparted much of their knowledge regarding social media and reputation branding. They were joined by a number of others representing fields that complement the industry and the conference was sponsored by Xero, Private Box and BeMyVA.
The discussions and speakers were inspirational and a certain buzz was felt in the room. Plans are in place to promote and further establish the industry and even a name change is on the cards, so watch this space.
Organised by Debra Clark and her committee and a special thank you to Larissa Paris of Xero and John Palmer of BeMyVA for being judges of this award.
